Description of Services:
Plant Growth Regulators (PGRs) – Growth Regulators are probably the best kept secret in lawn care. PGRs cause grass to grow laterally and less upright. This promotes tighter growth patterns and helps lawns maintain color after mowing. After applying PGRs lawns have to be cut half as often and are noticeably greener. The application of PGRs is just one thing that separates TurfMasters, LLC, from other lawn care companies in Augusta, GA, and Columbia, SC, as we are one of the only companies to provide this service to residential customers.
Lime – Corrects acidic soil PH which frees up available fertilizer and nutrients in the soil.
Core Aeration – Relieves soil compaction by removing plugs 2-3 inches deep. Aeration penetrates the root system of the turf allowing grass plants to breathe and promotes deeper roots.
TopChoice – Applied to lawns once yearly. Controls imported Fire Ants for 12 months, mole crickets for 4 months, and 3 months nuisance ant control. It is recommended in all Zoysia lawns as a mole cricket preventative.
Fungicides – Lawn Fungicides can be applied when active fungus is detected in lawns, or as a preventative measure in lawns with a history of fungus problems.
